Furhugs
FurHugs — for the love you live together.
Back then, all I wanted was someone to simply be there with me. So I drove 12 hours to pick up Cookie, a quiet and gentle little Maltese who would soon change my life.
At first, he was just company. I fed him, bathed him, watched him nap in the corner of the sofa. It felt like background noise to a lonely life. But over time, something changed.
There was a time when I was living alone. I started noticing that Cookie wasn’t just keeping me company — he was protecting me. At night, he’d sit by the bed, alert to the slightest noise outside. And that’s when it hit me: I thought I was taking care of him. But really, he was protecting me. He’s not just a pet. He’s family—the one who stood by me during my most vulnerable moments, with nothing but gentle loyalty and love.
That’s when I began to wonder: We decorate our homes so thoughtfully for ourselves, but how often do we truly design a space for them? They curl up in corners, hide under tables, sleep on cold floors— but that’s not what “home” should feel like.
And so, FurHugs was born.
