Although I’m not sure it will fit over a winter coat since the buckle that anchors the shoulder straps seems a bit short. I wish that the main zipper were more heavy duty. When I put it down, he stands up and zipper easily opens. A tad wider than I need for my dog, but he likes it and seems comfy. I’ve worn it with him on my back as well. Both positions work just fine. It’s not canvas as I assumed, my fault that I didn’t read fabric description, but I think canvas would make it too heavy. All in all a good find!
